Psychotherapy Services
Dr. Stephanie Lechich
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Welcome!
I offer virtual psychotherapy to individuals in New York. My goal is to provide a space that is safe for people to explore feelings and ideas authentically and to process hardships, conflicts, and traumas. I help individuals better understand themselves and others to promote harmony and stability in their relationships. We collaborate to identify emotional and interpersonal patterns that interfere with living a fulfilling life. We identify how past experiences relate to the present, which is empowering in taking steps towards a more fulfilling future.
I invite you to reach out to discuss working together. Finding an effective therapist can be challenging, and I am someone who can help you on your journey. I am warm, non-judgmental, sensitive, and direct. I listen carefully, and I value the importance of pacing, so that the therapeutic process is both comfortable and challenging in a way that fosters growth.

Following your initial contact, we will schedule a 15-20 minute consultation call in which you can share more with me about reasons for seeking therapy and ask questions about my services, insurance, and fees. Should we determine that it makes sense to proceed, we will schedule the first therapy session. Before the first session, you will receive a link to fill out consent forms that you will sign electronically.
-
My practice is fully virtual at this time, with sessions taking place on a secure and confidential video platform. Individual sessions are either 45 minutes or 60 minutes. The first two sessions we will meet weekly. Once we establish your treatment goals, we can increase or decrease the frequency of the meetings. Patients must be located in the state of New York during therapy sessions.
-
When cancelling or rescheduling sessions, please provide at least 24 hours notice. If you request less than 24 hours from the scheduled session, we can try to find an alternative time, but if we are not able to, the session will be charged in full.

I do not accept insurance at this time. I accept payment by Venmo, Zelle, Check. I may be able to offer a sliding scale rate based on income and financial need, depending on availability. We can discuss cost and financial needs in the initial consultation call. Most insurance plans have out-of-network coverage, which means that you may be able to get significantly reimbursed for the sessions. I will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit for reimbursement.

Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy (CPT code 90834 or 90837)?
What is the amount I can expect to be reimbursed per session given my provider’s information: licensed clinical psychologist with NPI number 1770208209, zip code: 33139.
Do I have a deductible that I have to first meet? If so, how much is it and how much have I already met?
Is there a limited number of visits I can have per year?
What is the process for submitting claims?
How long will it take for me to get reimbursed?
